Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Keyword Research App ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") accesses, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes information when an authorized user connects a Google Ads account and uses the App's keyword research features.

1. Information we access

The App may process the following information when you use its Google Ads integration:

• OAuth authorization data: access tokens and refresh tokens issued by Google after you authorize the App.
• Google Ads account data: account identifiers and data needed to perform the keyword research request you initiate.
• Keyword research data: seed keywords you submit and keyword ideas, average monthly search estimates, competition information, and bid-range information returned by the Google Ads API.
• Technical data: our hosting infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and server logs for security, diagnostics, and service operation.

2. Google OAuth scope

The App requests the following Google OAuth scope:

This scope is used to access the Google Ads API for the account you authorize. The App does not ask for or store your Google password.

3. How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to provide and maintain the App's requested functionality, including:

• authorizing requests to the Google Ads API;
• generating keyword ideas from a seed keyword;
• displaying keyword planning metrics returned by Google Ads;
• maintaining the authorized connection so you do not need to re-authorize every request; and
• diagnosing errors and protecting the App from misuse.

We do not use Google user data for personalized advertising, advertising profiles, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers.

4. How we store data

In this implementation, OAuth tokens are stored server-side and are protected from direct public web access by server configuration. Short-lived access tokens may be refreshed using the stored refresh token. Keyword results are returned to the browser for the requested session and are not intentionally stored in an application database by this source code.

Hosting providers may retain standard infrastructure logs according to their own operational and security practices.

5. How we share data

We do not sell Google user data. We do not disclose Google user data to third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes. Data is transmitted to Google as necessary to complete OAuth and Google Ads API requests. Our hosting infrastructure may process data only as needed to operate, secure, and deliver the service, and information may be disclosed where required by applicable law.

6. Retention and deletion

OAuth tokens are retained only while needed to keep the authorized Google Ads connection active. You can use the Disconnect Google Ads action in the App to delete the locally stored OAuth token for this installation. You may also revoke the App's access at any time from your Google Account permissions settings. After revocation, previously issued tokens can no longer be used to access your Google account.

7. Security

We use HTTPS and server access controls intended to protect OAuth credentials from direct public access. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.

9. Your choices

You may choose not to connect a Google Ads account. You may disconnect the App or revoke Google authorization at any time. If you have a privacy or deletion request, contact us using the information below.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or its data practices change. The updated date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
